Just in time for Halloween - UNREAL Candies (Candy without the Junk!)

Two weeks ago, Princess P and I went to our local pharmacy to pick up a few things and, while standing in the checkout line, Princess P ran up to me with a bag of candy in her hand and asked if she could have it. I glanced at the futuristic label (one that I had never seen before) and I told her no, that she could have a snack when we got home. Little did I know that I was saying no to a type of candy that was unlike any other. A type of candy that has no corn syrup, no artificial flavors and no synthetic colors.

Created by a a kid determined to prove that he could unjunk candy and an innovative chef that took on the mission, UNREAL candies are more than just a sweet treat. Each UNREAL product is made out of the best ingredients and contains 30% less sugar, 60% more protein and 250% more fiber per serving on average compared to the leading competing brand. The dairy used in UNREAL products comes from pasture raised cows in New Zealand and California without antibiotics or added hormones. The organic palm kernel oil is from a sustainable and organic plantation in Brazil and natural colors from beets and purple cabbage are used instead of synthetic dyes. Just in time for Halloween we were sent several different types of UNREAL products to try. Before I even had a chance to try them, I noticed the one I was most looking forward to trying (the UNREAL 8) was already gone. After doing a bit of detective work, I found out that Chris had eaten it while I wasn't at home. He had no clue what it was made with, so I asked him what it tasted like and he quickly responded, "Just like a Snickers only not as sweet. which was kind of refreshing."

The next test came when Princess P got home from Preschool one day and wanted a snack. I gave her a few of the UNREAL 41 candies and she gobbled them up and ask for more. She had no clue it wasn't the candy she had had before and it was actually something better for her. A couple of days later, she got treated with one of the UNREAL 77: Peanut Butter Cups (I ate the other) and she loved it!

I've tried the UNREAL 77, 41 and 54 candies and they really do taste great! They are not quite as sweet as the competitive brands on the market, but they are just as good! Plus, the fact that they retail for around the same price as the competition is an added bonus. UNREAL candies are welcome in our home anytime!
