The Friendly Reminder Part -
While most of you follow the rules on giveaways (thank you!!), it has come to my attention that there are several people just hitting the "I did it" button on Rafflecopter and not actually doing the work. Well, just to let you know, this is NOT going to get you a win. You see, I can view all of the information you put in and when you say you left a blog post comment and you didn't or if you say you follow on twitter and don't leave your twitter handle - I know! (I understand that sometimes people forget to include all the information, and I can usually tell if it is just an oversight.) So, if you are not going to do the work it takes to win, I'm going to draw another persons (who has done the work) name. This happened today and I picked a new winner. Just a friendly reminder!
Thanks for reminding us of the rules on the giveaways! I really hope that I followed them correctly!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog!
Have a great weekend!

Silly hey? I click only what I do ,,,but ... just within the last couple of days I noticed the the twitter boxes usully go lighter to show that we follow on twitter and they are not going lighter to show that I follow and I do. I am thinking that twitter has a glitch.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I'm so excited for this.
ReplyDeleteI am relieved to know you check every entry because I have noticed this a lot on giveaways I enter recently. When their is a mandatory entry with no comment approval and only 20 comments but a few hundred entries you start to suspect something. Anyway thanks for being thorough :)
ReplyDeleteI am also relieved to know that you check the entries, I think that cheating can happen more often with rafflecopter type giveaways but not when blog owners check the entries, I personally feel better knowing my chances are equal with everyone else because I do follow the rules and complete the entries as instructed, Thank you for offering amazing giveaways and for keeping track of the entries for those of us sweepers who do follow the rules :)
